DAY 01: ARRIVE IN DELHI

  • Upon arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, transfer to your hotel.
  • Overnight in Delhi.

DAY 02: DELHI → CHANDIGARH (250 KMS / 6 HOURS)

  • After breakfast, begin your ride to the planned city of Chandigarh.
  • Explore the city's famous architecture and gardens, such as Sukhna Lake or Rock Garden.
  • Overnight in Chandigarh.

DAY 03: CHANDIGARH → JIBHI (~250 KMS / 7 HOURS)

  • Ride into the Himalayan foothills towards the picturesque Tirthan Valley.
  • Arrive in Jibhi, a serene hamlet known for its lush green meadows, waterfalls, and ancient temples.
  • Overnight in Jibhi.

DAY 04: JIBHI → KALPA (~220 KMS / 8 HOURS)

  • A spectacular riding day, entering the Kinnaur Valley.
  • The road hugs the mountainside along the Sutlej River, offering dramatic views.
  • Arrive in Kalpa, a beautiful village facing the mighty Kinnaur Kailash mountain range.

DAY 05: KALPA → TABO (~100 KMS / 4 HOURS)

  • Arrive in Tabo, home to the Tabo Monastery (over a thousand years old), often called the 'Ajanta of the Himalayas' for its exquisite frescoes and stucco sculptures.

DAY 06: TABO → KAZA (~50 KMS / 2 HOURS)

  • Arrive in Kaza, the capital of Spiti Valley, with ample time to explore the town or visit the nearby Key Monastery.

DAY 07: KAZA → JISPA (~212 KMS / 8-9 HOURS)

  • One of the most challenging and rewarding riding days. Cross the Kunzum Pass (4,590m) into Lahaul.
  • Traverse the dramatic Batal to Gramphu section, followed by the ascent to Baralacha La (4,890m).
  • Descend to the scenic village of Jispa on the banks of the Bhaga River.
  • Overnight in Jispa.

DAY 08: JISPA → TSOKAR (TSO KAR) (~250 KMS / 8 HOURS)

  • Entering Ladakh: Ride across the Taglang La pass (5,328m), one of the world's highest motorable passes.
  • Descend into the Rupshu Valley, a high-altitude desert plain.
  • Arrive at the stunning white salt lake of Tsokar, known for its wildlife and remote beauty.
  • Overnight in a camp or guesthouse at Tsokar.

DAY 09: TSOKAR → LEH (~160 KMS / 5 HOURS)

  • A relatively shorter ride across the majestic More Plains.

DAY 10: LEH (ACCLIMATIZATION & LOCAL SIGHTSEEING)

  • Critical Acclimatization Day. Leh is at 3,500m; rest and hydrate.
  • Optional local sightseeing: Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, or Hemis Monastery.
  • Overnight in Leh.

DAY 11: LEH → KHARDUNG LA → NUBRA VALLEY (120 KMS / 4 HOURS)
